The Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue is a State-wide rescue organization with foster homes and adoptable dogs scattered across the entire State of Texas. To help in your search for the perfect Great Pyrenees to add to your life, we have assigned each of our adoptable dogs to specific region. While you can adopt a dog from any region, the farther away you are from the dog's foster home, the greater the likelyhood that you will have to help with the driving.

Hello My name is Roudy! First I need to clarify that my MOM WAS A PYR. I was born on 10/31/2011. I am now a year old and am smart as a dog can be.. My adopters gave me back due to opening doors and gates, but not before I got hit by a car.  TGPR tried to save my leg, but apparently there was already damage to the tissue and the vet could not save my leg.  But not to worry - I get along just fine!  My mom was a Great Pyrenees and a DNA test showed that I have, Coonhound and Cocker Spaniel in my lineage! I am looking for a my furever family that will work with my intelligence and of course I need those  smooches and hugs. I love to play ball too.  Please come and see me!  Roudy
